Paxos Island, Greece

Paxos Island has not been infected by mass tourism. 

In there are about 30 beaches around Paxos. Most of them are on the the east coast. The  beaches on the spectacular west coast are mainly only accessible by water and here are also a number of magnificent caves.

North of Gaios are successively northward Kioni Gouli Beach, Kamini Beach and the sheltered beach Kaki Langada. 
Further on north ther are successively Alati Beach, Kipiadi Beach and Kipos Beach. On the other side of the cape, across the three tiny islets you will find Pigadi or Marmari Beach and Leverechia Beach. They are mostly pebble beaches.
Loggos has a pretty nice vollage beach and north there are Phykia, Glyfada Beach and popular Monodendri, Lakkos, Orkos and Arkoudaki Beaches. Levrecho Beach is easily accessible and therefore one of the busiest beaches on Paxos in the high season.
Lakka has Harami en Kanoni Beach.
On the headland east of Lakka there are the more quiet Komeno and Plani Beach. Further south the baches and covs are best to be discoverd by boat or  kayak.

Around Paxos there are several little islands which can be visited by kayak and sea-taxi. Some are so close to Paxos that you can swim!

Anti-Paxos, the famous little sister with its wonderful beaches and turquoise blue water, is approximately 3 nautical miles south of Paxos. The tiny island is only 12 square km.
The superb Vrika and Voutoumi beaches are are famous throughout the Ionian. The southern part of the island is rocky with beaches such as Rodovani.
